Angels has partnered with Yolanda Valentine, the owner of False Bay Recycling in Sunnydale, to raise funds for a vehicle and bailer that will cut Yolanda’s costs and allow her to more effectively support the survivalist entrepreneurs in Masiphumelele who currently collect recyclables. Yolanda’s buy-back centre buys items from about 20 families currently.

Our Champion!

Raising awareness and funds for this effort is Angels’ champion, Lou-May Immelman, who will be walking 275km in May 2019 from Grahamstown to Gamtoos Valley over 11 days, wearing a distinctive purple, Angels-branded, “Keep Calm and Recycle” t-shirt.

We will be updating Lou-May’s progress on this blog and on our Facebook and Twitter platforms.
