Appointing Angels Resource Centres as your ED Outsource (EDO) partner is an approach that involves harnessing the collective expertise of a dedicated team of Angels, to support or extend your current ED team. For newly established IPPs or those in a transition period, the advantages of an EDO service are manifold.
Integral to all our services and programmes, is our commitment to fostering local talent by employing, empowering, and upskilling members of the community within the IPPs’ catchment area. Our EDO services certainly also align with this commitment. This often synergizes with internship and bursary programmes, leaving the community equipped and enabled to continue services as proficient ED professionals, both within your organization and the broader community.
We understand that each IPP may have a slightly different internal structure and administrative process, but the deliverables and compliance requirements are generally similar. We believe that we can add value to you and your team, after a brief induction period to understand your specific procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities of your EDO:
Angels EDO can include all or some of the following expert services, according to your needs, your choice:
- Compliance Tasks: Annual and Quarterly Reports, Equity and Diversity assessments, Local Content checks, REIPPP Impact Reports, and other reporting requirements that go beyond standard IPP Office reporting (for IPPs in the REIPP programme).
- Ongoing Compliance: We will ensure continued compliance with BBB-EE and employment commitments. Our diverse team of Angels, who will be part of the outsourced services, could also contribute positively to your BB-EEE scorecard. Angels itself holds a BB-EEE Level 1 status.
- Community Engagements: We will engage with the immediate communities in the impact area and the Community Liaison Officers (CLOs) to stay informed about community-related activities. The CLO can report directly to us, and we can manage any HR-related matters.
- Stakeholder Engagement : We will manage relevant stakeholder engagements and community meetings.
- Risk Management: Identifying and addressing risks and creating mitigation plans.
- Community Needs Assessments: We will assess the needs of the community and procure service providers that align with your strategy and the identified community needs.
- Public Relations and Online Presence: We will work with your preferred PR outsourcing team to ensure that websites, social media, and other platforms adhere to your corporate identity and accurately reflect your vision, mission, and values.
- Community/Site Visits: We will conduct regular visits to verify beneficiary outcomes and service provider deliverables.
- Monitoring & Evaluation: Managing the processes and plans for monitoring and evaluating the impact of initiatives.

Angels can receive and manage funds allocated towards EnD and SeD. Being a registered non-profit organization with PBO status at SARS, funds are securely held in a dedicated account and only disbursed for approved projects, following a stringent financial management process.
