Summary

Youth development programmes play a pivotal role in addressing challenges, building resilience, and fostering positive growth in rural and under-resourced communities. Investing in the development of young individuals is an investment in the future prosperity and well-being of the entire community.

Description and Outcomes

The programme spans a duration of 3 months, excluding recruitment activities. Each month, beneficiaries will engage in theoretical and practical training days and group mentoring and life coaching sessions. As the participants embark on this dynamic and transformative journey, they will unlock life-changing training modules along the way, motivating and empowering the youth to make informed, positive life choices and setting the stage for each one to ignite their potential.

Programme Activities

  • Learners to License: Propel beneficiaries towards independence and unlocking further opportunities by helping them to secure a South African driver’s license during the programme.
  • Opportunities in Sport: Beneficiaries will discover diverse career paths and opportunities intertwined with the world of sports.  (This is a glimpse into our full Sport4Change programme)
  • Career Development: We will help beneficiaries to sharpen their professional edges with CV preparation, interview readiness, opportunity scouting, and the road map to a dream career.
  • Jobs of the Future: Guiding beneficiaries to gear up for the digital age with insights into the realms of computers, gaming, and robotics.
  • Soft Skills Mastery: With our expert partnerships, we will help the young beneficiaries to navigate life’s challenges with resilience – tackle trauma, manage conflicts, make positive choices, and build unshakeable self-confidence.
  • Entrepreneurship Bootcamp: We will aim to unleash the entrepreneurs among our beneficiaries through an intensive program designed to ignite innovative thinking.
