ANGELS IS ALL ABOUT CHANGE!
Working together to bring change to under-resourced rural communities!

Dear Friends of Angels
We’ve reached the end of yet another busy and productive year. This quarter we bid a fond farewell to Apiwe Veli, our dedicated rural development mentor, who’s support, encouragement and knowledge have benefited many of our rural entrepreneurs, helping them navigate the challenges of their business journeys. His contributions not only enhanced the skills and confidence of those he mentored, but also those he worked alongside! Apiwe proved himself to be a valued member of the Angels team and will be missed. We extend our best wishes for his continued success in his new position!
As we reflect on the last quarter of 2024, our small Angels team has demonstrated just how vital human capital is to our success. Angels Human Capital = full + part-time staff + local service providers!!
Our Human’s resilience and agility have enabled Angels to adapt quickly to changes and challenges,
using our diverse skills and knowledge to succeed in our projects and implement our programmes.
Their unwavering commitment to Angels, the entrepreneurs and the communities we serve has been instrumental in our achievements.
We would like to thank everyone on our team and we look forward to an exciting 2025, with new opportunities to grow and spread our wings !!!
A HUGE Thank You goes to all the wonderful humans who have supported the Angels team in any way during 2024. It is because of you that we are able to make a difference! We wish you all a wonderful holiday season, rest well and have a very Happy New Year!
We’ll be resting our wings until January 6th – but will be back – working to bring change to our rural communities: Igniting, Integrating and Impacting lives in 2025!
Will you join us?
Warm regards,
Dana Dreyer

Enterprise4Change Bootcamp: Igniting Rural Entrepreneurship. August 2024

Enterprise4Change Bootcamp – Igniting Rural Entrepreneurship
The Angels Enterprise4Change Bootcamp programme offers a comprehensive curriculum covering vital business skills alongside personal development skills such as leadership, communication, problem-solving and innovation. Participants not only enhance their proficiency in these areas but also cultivate a holistic understanding of sustainable business management practices.
Angels recently facilitated a unique Business Skills Bootcamp sponsored by CCM MOOIPLAATS PTY LTD in conjunction with DevRani Consult, which focussed on supplied development. At the end of the bootcamp each participant had to present on their Product, Service, Customers, Income and overall Business strategy – to win over the judge’s panel and secure their place in a 6 month training & mentoring programme.
By showcasing their businesses potential and the culmination of their training received at the Business Skills Bootcamp, they also threw their hats in the ring for a spot in a 6-month Enterprise4Change programme, combining targeted training with mentoring and grant funding to help the businesses expand their capabilities and enhance their ability to supply services to the renewable energy sector.
A Corporate Social Investment Outreach Initiative
As part of our Mission to Make a Meaningful Impact, we’ve adopted Sandaalhout Primary in Delft, Western Cape.

Angels Supports Education in South Africa!
At Angels Resource Centers, we are committed to making a meaningful impact within the communities we serve. As part of our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiatives, we have adopted the Sandaalhout Primary School in Delft, Western Cape.
Schools like Sandaalhout are educating and equipping the future of our nation.
Our fundraising initiatives will include a Book Covering drive, Stationary drive, Community Walk, a Spring Market and culminate in a Festival of Joy, which gets the whole community involved in supporting, unifying and celebrating, while empowering SMMEs and engaging local stakeholders.
All funds raised from these drives will go straight into resource and infrastructure improvements at the school, as well as aiding the dedicated staff in facilitating a more conducive learning environment for their learners.
Together with the staff, we’ve identified the key areas of improvement from their wish list, namely:
Resources, Stationery, Technology, Playground and Volunteers.
Join us in this journey of hope and transformation – together, we can make a lasting impact!
