We understand that many possess the passion and ideas needed for success but are hindered by obstacles beyond their current capacity. Agri4Change offers a comprehensive curriculum covering essential skills development for micro and subsistence farmers, from farming practices to leadership and life skills. Our interactive approach fosters both proficiency and a holistic understanding of sustainable economic impact.
Description and Outcomes
During this 24-month Mentorship and Training Programme we will impact beneficiaries and support them towards embarking on an agriculture-focused journey. They will be empowered (facilitate and mentor) equipped (skills training) and enabled (funds to purchase assets) to start or grow a successful and sustainable agri-business.
Skills Development outcomes include:
- An accredited certificate (QCTO) on successfull completion of the training programme.
- A mentoring certificate reflecting their successful participation and completion of the Angels mentorship programme.
- Various soft skills certificates from MindTools on completion of relevant courseware.
- Income Generating Assets purchased with grant funding and Business Development Support.
Personal Development outcomes include the following abilities that will be evident through their future actions:
- Foster innovative thinking and initiative, encouraging exploration of scalability and sustainability.
- Discover and explore diverse interests, strengths, and previously unconsidered markets.
- Develop critical thinking, research, and analysis skills for informed decision-making.

Programme Activities
- Agri-Bootcamp: a 5-day entrepreneurial Bootcamp that utilizes the Launch League rural incubator methodologies and resources and integrates the Lean Canvas methodology and business fundamentals in interactive sessions.
- Beneficiary Selections: The Bootcamp will end in a Pitch Deck event, where the entrepreneurs will present their business plans for the opportunity to be selected to enter the Grant Funding, Training and Mentorship Programme.
- Grant Fund, Training & Mentorship Programme: Selected Beneficiaries will participate in: Accredited Training, facilitated by locally employed trained facilitators. Professional Mentoring & Coaching which includes guided spending of the grant fund towards income generating assets.
This Enterprise development programme, with its focus on food security and economic prosperity, is vital for nurturing the spirit of entrepreneurship in rural communities.
