Lungelo has expanded his his poultry farm operations, built proper poultry houses, and gained valuable business and sustainability training, with thanks to support from various incubator and government initiatives, and now the Seriti Green-sponsored Agri4Change programme. “This programme came in at a critical time. It helped me grow personally and professionally. It’s made a big difference to my mindset, and I’ve learned that being committed and consistent can shift everything.” Lungelo’s big dream is to own the full poultry value chain - from hatching to packaging and distribution - and to create over 100 jobs for his community in the process!

"The Agri4Change programme, sponsored by Seriti Green, has changed everything. I’ve always farmed from the heart, but now I’m farming with vision.” Working with Angels’ Morgenzon mentor, Joana Ngele, Siphiwesihle is learning to shift his mindset and he’s reshaping Nkonyane Farming - not just as a livelihood, but as a long-term enterprise. “I’m not where I want to be yet, but with the mentorship and tools I’ve gained through Agri4Change, I’m going far.”

Zeerust Solar partnered with Angels to successfully implement and facilitate a 12 Month Intern training pogramme in Zeerust, South Africa - Intern, Lerato Seago shared this encouraging feedback, "I am happy and proud to share that this week Zeerust Solar successfully hosted EIMS board members, who came to review the impact that Zeerust Solar is bringing to the communities. I had the opportunity to showcase a few of the projects we've accomplished as Zeerust Solar. Guys, let me tell you - we are not just interns, but change makers! A big thank you to Angels for continually strengthening us, our wings are truely flying high. And lastly, thanks to the mentorship that is amazingly contributing to our growth!"

When asked how the Enterprise4Change training and mentoring has helped with his business, Joshua had this to say: "It educates entrepreneurs of how business needs to be done. To be able to use line cash flow within the company. I am able to work on my budget and can have full responsibility on what’s really happening in the business. I am (now) able to use my cash flow responsibly with no errors. I am able to behave professionally, before I had no idea in dealing or behaving professionally with my workers or clients. I am able to deal with conflict in a calm manner and have very good communicating skills. My (Angels) mentor is the best person when it comes to (giving) advises and helping me with every problem I come across so far, no problem. I really appreciate my mentor.”

Zeerust Solar Agri4Change Programme participant: When asked how Angels mentoring has helped with her business, Refilwe had this to say, “I wouldn’t be where I am now without Angels. I would like to get more schools involved with what I’m doing to encourage them to start growing their own vegetable crops and teach them about farming and nutrition. I’d like to increase awareness and educate the next generation and especially to promote farming as a career choice amoung the youth, who don’t seem to know what opportunities there are here for them.”
