When asked how the Enterprise4Change training and mentoring has helped with his business, Joshua had this to say: "It educates entrepreneurs of how business needs to be done. To be able to use line cash flow within the company. I am able to work on my budget and can have full responsibility on what’s really happening in the business. I am (now) able to use my cash flow responsibly with no errors. I am able to behave professionally, before I had no idea in dealing or behaving professionally with my workers or clients. I am able to deal with conflict in a calm manner and have very good communicating skills. My (Angels) mentor is the best person when it comes to (giving) advises and helping me with every problem I come across so far, no problem. I really appreciate my mentor.”

Zeerust Solar Agri4Change Programme participant: When asked how Angels mentoring has helped with her business, Refilwe had this to say, “I wouldn’t be where I am now without Angels. I would like to get more schools involved with what I’m doing to encourage them to start growing their own vegetable crops and teach them about farming and nutrition. I’d like to increase awareness and educate the next generation and especially to promote farming as a career choice amoung the youth, who don’t seem to know what opportunities there are here for them.”

Project Management Training workshops facilitated by Angels, impacting Macassar Youth. "Your passion and commitment to making a difference through Angels is absolutely inspiring. We walked away so encouraged and motivated by the work that you do, as well as the enthusiasm with which you do it. You are making an incredible difference to your community and this inspires others to do the same. Thank you for your hospitality and openness, and we trust that you will continue to see the fruit of all of your hard work in the development of this community".

Este-Lee Nel attended a bursary roadshow facilitated by Angels, offering students the opportunity to apply for bursaries. She was one of five Gr 12 learners from Loeriesfontein, in the Northern Cape, that were selected from applicants – many from disadvantaged backgrounds – to receive financial support to further their education. Este-Lee, who has just graduated from Boland FET College, in Paarl sent Angels this message: "Today I want to express my gratitude to you. I submitted my final exam paper today. I am eternally grateful for the help and sacrifice you offered me. I remember how you drove to my house that Friday morning the 30th of October 2020 so that I can complete my application, I was still in town that morning, but you waited for me before you drove to the Cape. Thank you very much for that."

Kenny, a participant in the Bokamoso Solar Youth4Change Development Programme gave us this apology after attending the Job Skills workshop: “I won’t be able to make it to the next workshop as I found work at Checkers in Klerksdorp. I will be starting tomorrow and I really don’t know when am I going to be free. Let me take this opportunity to send my positive love and gratitude for the wonderful lessons you’ve given me through the youth programme.
